The First Minister of Scotland was received in Brussels by the President of the European Parliament, to whom she communicated the Scottish plea to remain within the European Union. Rajoy's reaction: "Scotland has no power to negotiate with the EU and the Spanish government opposes it". "If the UK leaves, so must Scotland".
Instead of helping to resolve the political problem that it has in Catalonia, Spain is transferring it to Europe by blocking Europe’s (re)construction. Likewise, by not recognizing Kosovo. The Scots? No. Instead of seeking solutions to the new problems of these new times, they are holding on to the letter of the law.
Those who voted for the PP thinking that they were voting for stability will find out sooner or later that there is no security with a government that makes problems worse and doesn't confront them head-on. They voted for security, but all they are getting is fear.
